This list of resources was compiled for READING 766 CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS & LITERACY INSTRUCTION (K-12), READING 771 PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTING READING PROGRAMS, and other graduate courses in READING, but will be useful for undergraduate courses as well. These are not the only resources which can be used for completing the project, but provide a starting point for your research.
Are you taking classes online? You can still use library services and access library resources! Students who are enrolled in UW-Whitewater online degree programs are considered Distance Education (DE) students. Graduate students and faculty are also eligible for these services. These students are eligible for the same services as on-campus students, as well as others listed below.
Request that items owned by UW-W Libraries be sent to your home at no charge. How?
Request that items owned by other UW System Libraries be sent to your home at no charge.
Use your UW-W HawkCard to borrow items while visiting other UW System Libraries. Go to the library's website to see the policy for UW System in-person visits.
A DE or graduate student may also place a request for scanned journal articles or book chapters from items UW-W has in print using the Document Delivery service.
These will be delivered via UW-W email. Watch this video tutorial to see how to do this.
Any questions or concerns about Document Delivery should be submitted to the ILL department at email@example.com.
If you encounter problems accessing library resources, such as access to library databases or the full-text of articles, see our Troubleshooting guide or call the Reference Desk at 262-472-1032.
