Web of Science is a multidisciplinary database that indexes over 10,000 journals in the sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities, over 50,000 scholarly books, and published proceedings for over 12,000 conferences per year. Powerful tools track how many times an item has been cited since publication, finds relevant items which share one or more cited references, reviews cited references that link to a full record display, and searches all cited authors.

An archival full-text multi-disciplinary journal database, coverage varies by publication but typically begins with volume one of each title and continues to within 3 to 5 years of the most current issue. Covering over 60 academic disciplines in more than 2400 scholarly journals, UW-Whitewater Library has acquired Arts & Sciences I-VII Collections as well as the JSTOR Life Science Collection.
