What is This?
This list of resources has been compiled for English 404 classes, including those taught by Prof. Levy-Navarro. These are not the only resources which can be used for completing projects, but are rather suggested as starting points for your research.
If you are ready to jump right in to your research, use these links to some major starting points.
Databases by Subject
Online research databases (collections) available through the UWW Libraries. Organized here by broad subject areas. To access the alphabetical list of databases, click on "Databases A-Z" on the right side of that page. Search these to find ebooks; articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers; data and other sources of information.
This discovery tool searches multiple resources simultaneously to help you find articles, books, ebooks, videos, government documents, business data and more. Covers a wide variety of subject areas, so is a great place to start your research..
Google Scholar can help identify scholarly articles and books. Links are provided to free open access titles. If searching with a campus computer, links are provided directly to UWW libraries' subscription sources. Just log in to access. Configure Google Scholar settings
to connect to UWW books and articles on personal devices.
Search by periodical title--not article title--to find what journals, magazines, and newspapers the UWW libraries provide access to.
