After running a search in Research@UWW, you may see "Get it for me from other libraries," "Request this item," or similar text under the citation for an item you want. These messages mean that our copy is currently unavailable for checkout or we do not have it. You can request the item for free through interlibrary loan. The item will arrive at Andersen Library within 3 weekdays.
1. Change the dropdown search scope to Books, Media & more (UW System):
2. After running the search, select "Get it for me from other libraries" or "Request this item" under the citation for a book with the right title.
3. If you are not yet signed in to your account already, go to the Get if from another library section and select Sign in.
Select UW-W Students/Staff Login.
Sign in with your UW-W Net-ID and Password (same as your email login) then complete the Duo Mobile process.
Select Get It under Get a physical copy to have a copy of the entire book delivered to your library in 3 days.
If you had only needed one chapter, you would select Get It under Need a chapter to have a PDF copy delivered to your email in 24 hours.
Select your pick up location (UW-Whitewater or Rock County Library). Use the Comment box to indicate any special services requested by qualifying Distance Education students.
Select the Send button.
You will receive an email after your book has arrived at the Andersen Library Circulation Desk or Lenox Information Desk.
To borrow material from Andersen Library, just bring your HawkCard with you and bring your items to the Circulation Desk to check them out.
