Copyright law generally permits making single copies of articles for research purposes. Copyright law applies equally to photocopied and scanned materials. To find out more about copyright and fair use, please refer to the Library’s Copyright webpage.
Copies can be made by scanning articles, saving to a flash drive, then sending your scan to the printer.
Scanners are located on all floors of the Library. Students may print from them for free. Faculty, staff, students, and community members may also email and save easily from the touchscreen workstations.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) locates and obtains materials for our faculty, staff, and students that are not available in our collections. This service provides access to additional resources from participating libraries that support the same delivery times and generous loan periods. A search in Research@UWW will offer options for requesting content not found in our collections.
Please note you will need to sign into Research@UWW by clicking Sign in at the upper right to access the request options.
The GET IT button under Get a digital copy will take you to a form with your email address, please acknowledge the copyright statement to submit the form.
You will receive an email notification when the PDF is ready for download. Please note that if you are using a public computer, the file will download directly to the Downloads folder of that computer.
You can now check your library account for the progress of your requests on the My Requests option.
Files can be downloaded directly from your library account.
