Philosophy: Research Databases & Journals
This is a guide to web sites and library resources to support research and exploration in Philosophy.
Part of the Web of Science Core Collections, Arts & Humanities Citation Index is a multidisciplinary database that indexes 1144 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals as well as covers individually selected, relevant items from over 6800 major science and social science journals. It tracks how many times an article has been cited since publication, finds relevant items which share one or more cited references, reviews cited references that link to a full record display, and searches all cited authors.
Additional resources may be found by searching multi-disciplinary databases, such as Academic OneFile or Academic Search Complete. Please consult the A-Z Databases list, or ask a professor or a librarian for recommendations.
