Find more resources with general, multi-disciplinary databases, e.g., Academic OneFile or Academic Search Complete. Please use the A-Z Databases list, especially databases tagged for Philosophy & Religious Studies, or ask a professor or a librarian for suggestions.

Here are some special tips to increase your effectiveness when researching using Gale databases such as Religion and Philosophy.

• The search results default is to show you articles from magazines, so select "Academic Journals" to see scholarly articles.
• Select individual article titles to see the full text.
• If you see "Citation Only" or "Abstract Only" select the purple "Find It" button to see if you have access to the full text elsewhere for free.

If an article's full text is not available in a database, click to see if it is available in other databases or in the libraries' print or microform collections.
