Students have come to the circ desk looking to meet with Ms. Lori Trimble. She is in room 2255 in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
I have been told just the room number, looked on the map, and due to pior knowledge of the map, I have directed 2 students out of the building and back to the bridge thing, and told them to reenter the building through the Dean of Students Offices area, assuming that is where they were heading. Turns out, this is incorrect.
I did not know this, but students can enter the Office of Research of Sponsored Programs office area (near the old police station area on the second floor by the Chancellor portraits) by ringing a door bell and a staff member will answer the door. Students are directed by Lori to do this. I spoke with her to confirm. It may be helpful to ask the student which department they are headed to, as opposed to room number.
