The November Alma update adds a new UI for the Circulation/Manage Patron Services screen.

When you first login you should see the following popup. Clicking "Remind Me Later" will dismiss it for now. Clicking "Take Me There" will take you to the settings page to enable the new UI now.

If you want to get back to the setting to enable/disable it manually, you can get there by clicking the user icon and then "Feature Rollout Preferences"

There is a comparison of the old and new UIs on that preference page.

Community Borrower Accounts Free through 12/31/2025

Starting now, Community Borrower Accounts are free for patrons to provide an alternative to the Whitewater Public Library during its closures & building phase. While accounts are free, all Community Borrower accounts created this summer and fall will expire on 12/31/2025. I've reviewed the instructions and updated the screenshots for entering a new patron into ALMA. There are physical instructions with the cards (new format to use up our unexpectedly large supply of printable business cards). This is a temporary change for the summer and fall. Whitewater Public Library Closure June 1-22

Whitewater Public Library – Phase Three Building ProjectPhase Three of the library’s building project will begin in June 2025, which includes a renovation of the existing space. Dates and details are as follows:May 31 – Last day the building is open to the public.June 1–22 – The library will be closed. Online services (eBooks, databases, etc.) will remain available.June 23 – Curbside service begins. The public will not have access to the building, but they can pick up holds outside. Pet Therapy Photo Contest Winners

Hello all! If you were not aware, we had a Pet Therapy Photo Contest occuring over the previous two weeks. Students submitted their favorite pictures of the Pet Therapy dogs and voted on their favorites last week. The top three photos voted photo won a prize of some Andersen Library merch, a personalized PT Button with their winning photo, and each water bottle will have their name attached. Each winner have been notified that they must visit the library to pick up their prize, which is located on top of the DVD cabinet behind the desk.
