SPECED 760: Foundations and Characteristics of CD/EBD/LD (Prof. Lindahl): Borrowing From Other Libraries

Borrowing Materials from Other Libraries

For general information about borrowing items from Andersen Library, click here to visit the Circulation Services and select Borrow from Us.

If the UW-Whitewater Libraries do not have the item you need, or if it has already been checked out by someone else, the Library can usually borrow the item for you from another library.

UW Request: Borrow from Other UW Libraries
Borrow physical materials such as books, videos, and government documents--if not available at Andersen Library--from other UW System libraries. Items ordered generally arrive within 2-5 weekdays.

Interlibrary Loan (‚ÄčILLiad): Borrow from Libraries Outside the UW System
Request articles from newspapers, journals, and magazines, as well as books and other materials not available in a UW System library. Approximate turnaround time is 1-4 weekdays for articles; 5-7 weekdays for physical items.

Document Delivery
Graduate and distance education students may use Document Delivery to have journal articles owned by UW-Whitewater in print or microform sent to them by UW-W email.  Note your distance education and/or graduate status information in the Comments space on the form. Turnaround time is generally 1-2 weekdays.
