Introduction

This guide will help locate speeches that appear in print and online and indexes that contain references to speeches. Indexes do not contain the text of speeches, but rather list sources of speeches organized by subject or by the names of speakers. Check the introduction or explanation that accompanies a printed speech to determine whether the text is a summary, excerpt, or the full text.
