UW Request: Home

UW Request is a free service that allows UW-W faculty, staff and students to borrow books, videos, CDs, DVDs, microfilm, microfiche, government documents, etc. from any UW System library and have them sent to Andersen Library for pick-up.

STEP 1

Sign In to Research@UWW using the My Account link on the library homepage

   

or by clicking the Sign In link at the top right of the search pageIf you have already found an item, you may also use Sign In in the record view:

STEP 2

Click the UW-W students/staff login link to log-in.

Use your UW-W Net-ID (email ID) and password.

STEP 3

Click Use Get It to Request.

STEP 4

Click UW Request.

If this option is not available, then there is no copy in the UW System and you will need to request it via Interlibrary Loan.

STEP 5

Scroll down and click Request. 

Note for Distance education students and graduate students: You may request that items be sent to your home. State this request and include a current mailing address in the Comments box. You are responsible for returning items. See this FAQ for more information before making a request..

STEP 6

Check your UW-W email.

If for any reason the request cannot be fulfilled, you will be notified via email.

When the item is available, generally in 3-5 working days, you will be notified via email.
