Search for Andersen Library's books, both online and in print, using Research@UWW's "Books, Media, and more (UW Whitewater)." Searches may be for individual countries or regions, e.g.,
iran AND politics
"middle east" AND government
"arab countries" AND "foreign relations"
Research@UWW searches for "Everything" (articles, books, ebooks, videos, digital resources, government documents, etc.) from all disciplines. You also can search articles only or the local catalog only, i.e., UWW's books, media, and more.
Google Books can help you find books, read a summary of what the book discusses, and sometimes it allows you to search within the text and read portions of the text online.
A to Z Databases, Andersen Library's subscription databases, help you find articles (and sometimes other things like dissertations).
Reference Universe looks for entries in reference books (encyclopedias, handbooks, etc.), whether online or in print. Helpful for understanding unfamiliar terminology!
Find Journals is used to search for a particular journal, magazine or newspaper by title. The Library has access to thousands of titles, some online and some not.
When using licensed resources from off-campus, you'll be prompted to log into the proxy server with your UWW Net-ID and password (same as your UWW e-mail & D2L login). The Troubleshooting page may help if you have any difficulties (one option is using VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access campus and library services).
