Introductory Workshop

If you would like to schedule a workshop for a class or any group, or if you prefer a 1-1 consultation with a reference and instruction librarian, please contact the Reference Desk at 262-472-1032.

1. Demonstration: The Functions of Endnote Web (10 min.)

    • Collecting bibliographic citations from databases and manually
    • Formatting citations
    • Organizing citations
    • Sharing research with colleagues
    • Where this all can lead: “Cite While You Write” function

2. Hands On: Getting Started with EndNote (50 min.)

    • Create an account
    • Create and share folders (Groups)
    • Import citations from EBSCOhost and/or Web of Knowledge (ISI)
    • Set up favorites: citation styles and databases
    • Create a bibliography
    • Locate plugins for IE, Firefox, and MS Word
