How to Borrow From Other Libraries: UW Request

General Information

This service is free for UW-W faculty, staff and students and should be used first if you want to borrow physical items, such as books and government documents. These requests go to other UW System libraries. All UW campuses participate, although non-circulating items such as periodicals, periodical articles, reference books, and items from special collections cannot be borrowed this way.

  • Items usually take 2-5 weekdays to arrive
