The UW-Whitewater libraries have four free library loan services for current faculty, staff, and students at either campus that will help them borrow items not at their library:
- UW Request & Request
- UW Request allows current UWW faculty, staff, and students to borrow physical items from most other libraries in the UW System
- Request allows current UWW faculty, staff, and students to borrow physical items from the UWW campus they do not attend
- ILLiad
Allows current UWW faculty, staff, and students to borrow books that are not available from UW System libraries and to get articles that are not available through the UWW libraries.
- Document Delivery
Allows current UWW faculty, staff, graduate students, and distance education students to get scans of articles or book sections from the print collections of either UWW library delivered to them online as PDFs.
